Tejasswi Prakash, born on June 10, 1993, hails from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and was brought up in a Marathi family. Despite her engineering background, she pursued her education in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, earning her degree from Mumbai University.
Career
Tejasswi Prakash embarked on her acting journey in 2012 with the thriller “2612” on Life OK, where she portrayed Rashmi Bhargava. The following year, in 2013, she took on the role of Dhara Vaishnav opposite Jay Soni in Colors TV’s soap opera “Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki.”
From 2015 to 2016, Prakash captivated audiences as she played the lead character, Ragini Maheshwari, in Colors TV’s beloved drama romance “Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur.” Her stellar performance earned her nominations at prestigious awards such as the Indian Telly Awards and Golden Petal Awards.
In 2017, she showcased her talent as Diya Singh in Sony TV’s mystery drama “Pehredaar Piya Ki.” Following the conclusion of “Pehredaar Piya Ki,” Prakash reprised her role as Diya Singh in “Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya”.
The year 2018 saw her portraying Uruvi in Star Plus’s mythological drama “Karn Sangini,” starring alongside Aashim Gulati.

Post her victory in “Bigg Boss 15,” in February 2022, Tejasswi Prakash secured a role in Ekta Kapoor’s renowned supernatural franchise, “Naagin 6,” portraying the protagonist Pratha Gujral, a shape-shifting serpent. Within the same season’s leap tracks, she showcased a double role as a mother-daughter, playing Pratha Gujral and Prathna Gujral. Notably, “Naagin 6” became the longest-running season in the popular franchise.
November 2022 marked Tejasswi Prakash’s Marathi film debut alongside Abhinay Berde in the romantic drama “Mann Kasturi Re,” directed by Sanket Mane. Her performance earned her a nomination for Best Actress Debut at the Filmfare Marathi Awards 2022.
